Steel Pipe Blasting Machine

Sandblasting process is commonly used in OCTG tubing and casing production line.
The advantages of sandblasting in OCTG steel pipe production are followings:
1.Improve the wear-resistance of the steel surface; Sandblasting process can improve the physical performance of steel material
2.Improve anti-corrosion performance on the steel surface;
3.Improve the steel surface cleanness. After sandblasting, the rust and dirt or grease on the steel surface can be removed and make the new surface cleaner than before sandblasting.

The system employs PLC and touch screen for centralized control, and utilizes servo motors to drive the axial movement of the sandblasting gun for sandblasting processing of pipe end threads. The angle of the sandblasting gun can be adjusted manually according to changes in pipe diameter and center height.
Description of equipment process flow:
The steel pipe is driven by the auxiliary machine from the previous process and enters the sandblasting station. The auxiliary machine drives the steel pipe to move axially towards the sandblasting machine. The steel pipe must extend outside the auxiliary machine by ≥1.4 meters and enter the sandblasting machine in place. The auxiliary machine sends a signal to the sandblasting machine, and the sandblasting gun starts to move. After sandblasting and purging are completed, a signal is sent to the auxiliary machine, the steel pipe rotation stops, and the auxiliary machine starts the axial movement of the steel pipe, retracting it towards the auxiliary machine and entering the next process. The next cycle begins. The sandblasting machine is equipped with a bypass option. When the steel pipe does not need to be sandblasted, there is no signal connection between the sandblasting machine and the auxiliary machine.
