OCTG Laser Marking Equipment

Steel pipe stenciling machine is used not only on steel pipe body, but also used on couplings in OCTG industry. Here introduce the stenciling used on steel pipe body.

The content of the stenciling, the data, can be fetch from automation system. For example, this stenciling machine connect with the whole automation system, the data of pipe number, order number, weight, length and material grade are gathered during the pipe get processed. Or operator paste the content of stenciling into control panel, the stenciling spray paint to form the characters.

Main technical parameters of the marking machine:

• Character height: adjustable from 10 to 48mm;
• Spray printing dot matrix: 7x5, 10x8, 12x8, 14x10, 16x12.
• Spray point diameter: approximately 2mm
• Number of printing lines: 1-2 lines can be printed;
• Starting position: adjustable from 600-1500mm to the end of the pipe;
• Number of characters: (max) 300
• Equipped with front and back spray printing, dual standard spray printing function;
• Spray printing function: automatically spray printing date, time, batch number, shift and serial number, counting, etc;
• Spray printing content: Any character or graphic that can be edited by a computer;
• Marking color: white;
• Drying speed: 3 seconds (surface dry).
• Equipped with pipeline self-cleaning function (using universal cleaning agent, cleaning once per spray);

If the user wants to spray big character on big pipe. Manual portal stenciling device is the way, or use robot for automation working.

According to user's requirements and space available for machine system, the details are different from each other.
